We are currently seeking an experienced professional to fill a position as Provisioning/Dispatching Technician for our Cooperative located in Cloverdale, IN.

In this role, you will be responsible for dispatching outside technicians and assisting technicians with field provisioning of services.  This role also includes establishing and maintaining plant accounts, central office equipment records, service order records and fiber records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain trouble logs and assign daily service order installations
  • Provision service orders for daily installations
  • Troubleshoot network issues with technicians
  • Perform level 2 troubleshooting on customer trouble tickets
  • Maintain records according to RUS and industry specifications
  • Monitor network daily to determine network stability, traffic through-put, high speed port utilization, link outages, and all other events that are detrimental to customer service

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized training in information technology
  • Knowledge of telecommunications plant operations and network operations
  • Knowledge of digital switching technology a plus
  • Must be available for a work schedule of Tuesday through Saturday
