Stay Safe: How to Spot Scam Emails Pretending to Be Endeavor
At Endeavor Communications, your security is one of our top priorities. As part of our commitment to keeping you informed, we regularly share alerts about online scams — especially fake emails that may try to impersonate us.
Scams Are Getting Smarter — Here’s What to Know
Unfortunately, scam emails are becoming more convincing. Some may use our name, logo, or branding to trick you into thinking the message is legitimate. These emails often promise free prizes or urgent account updates, hoping you’ll hand over personal information.
Let’s be clear: Endeavor Communications will never ask for personal details like your credit card number, password, or account info through email. We also do not sell or share your email address with outside parties.
Common Signs of a Scam Email
Scammers often strike around billing time, so it’s important to stay alert. If you’re ever unsure about a message, give us a call or email us directly.
Here are some red flags to watch for:
-
Requests for Personal Info: Be cautious of any message asking for credit card numbers, login details, or other sensitive data.
-
Poor Grammar or Typos: Scam messages often have noticeable spelling or formatting issues.
-
Suspicious Email Addresses: Hover over the sender’s email address — if it looks strange or unofficial, it’s likely a scam.
-
Too-Good-To-Be-True Offers: Be skeptical of promises like a “free iPad.” While we do give away an iPad each year at our Annual Meeting, we never announce giveaways through unsolicited emails.
What About Surveys?
We do occasionally send out surveys to gather your feedback, but we’ll never ask for credit card numbers or sensitive information in them. If something seems off, trust your instincts.
Think You Got a Scam Email?
If you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from us, don’t click any links. Instead, forward it to our team at: customer.service@weendeavor.com
We’re always here to help you stay safe and informed.
