A Smart TV will allow you to connect to the internet with no additional devices. Many Smart TVs already have streaming apps built in and are ready to go. If you do not have a Smart TV, you can look into any of the devices listed below (as well as others) that will turn ANY TV with an HDMI port into a Smart TV.

On demand streaming allows the viewer to watch a wide variety of media at the viewer’s convenience.
